Tale of Two Seas
I see love as I see the ocean. Beautiful. Powerful. Serene. Infinite on the horizon. Love can take you places you've never been before. Show you things you've never seen before. It can cleanse your wounds and take your pain away. Love can provide for you. It can nourish you with everything it has to offer. It can warm your body and soul when you're in it. It can be your safe haven when you need to get away and relax. You can jump in and feel it's vast expanse. Love can be the most extraordinary thing. But it can also be dangerous. It's completely unpredictable. You have no way of knowing what's to happen next. Things can change in an instant. People can dive in head first, expecting to be welcomed by the strange, new world only to be shocked when they hit their head on the bottom and realize how shallow it really was. You never know how deep it is before you enter. There's no way to tell the temperature by looking. The water could freeze you and you'd have no idea prior to entering. There are currents that can suck you in. Waves that can throw you down. It could hurt you. Hell, it could even kill you. It can bring pain and sorrow. It can cause people to hide in fear, reluctant to even go near it. There are and always will be two sides to this story. Love is an ocean and the only way to know which side you're on is jump right in.
